15:4. యెహోవా దావీదును ప్రేమించాడు. అందువల్ల అబీయాముకు యెరూషలేములో ఒక రాజ్యాన్ని ఇచ్చాడు. అతనికి ఒక కుమారుని కూడ కలుగజేశాడు. యెహోవా ఇంకా యెరూషలేమును సురక్షితంగా వుండేలా చేశాడు. ఇదంతా యెహోవా దావీదు కొరకు చేశాడు.

15:4. దావీదు హిత్తీయుడైన ఊరియా సంగతియందు తప్ప తన జీవిత దినములన్నియు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థముగా నడుచు కొనుచు, యెహోవా అతనికిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలలో దేని విషయ మందును తప్పిపోకుండెను గనుక

15:4. Nevertheless for David's sake the LORD his God maintained his dynasty in Jerusalem by giving him a son to succeed him and by protecting Jerusalem.
