6:11. అయితే, నేను షెమయాతో ఇలా అన్నాను: “నాలాంటి మనిషి పారిపోవాలంటావా? నాలాంటి వాడు తన ప్రాణం కాపాడు కొనేందుకు దేవాలయంలోకి పారిపోకూడదు, నేనలా వెళ్లను!”

6:11. నేనునావంటి వాడు పారిపోవచ్చునా? ఇంతవాడనైన నేను నా ప్రాణమును రక్షించుకొనుటకైనను గర్భాలయమున ప్రవేశింప వచ్చునా? నేను అందులో ప్రవేశింపనంటిని.

6:11. But I replied, "Should a man like me run away? Would someone like me flee to the temple in order to save his life? I will not go!"

6:11. But I replied, "Should someone in my position run from danger? Should someone in my position enter the Temple to save his life? No, I won't do it!"

6:11. And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

6:11. But I said, "Should such a man as I run away? And what man such as I could go into the temple and live? I will not go in."

6:11. And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who [is there,] that, [being] as I [am,] would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

6:11. And I say, `A man such as I -- doth he flee? and who as I, that doth go in unto the temple, and live? -- I do not go in.`

6:11. But I said to Shemaiah, "Should a man like me run away? You know that an ordinary man like me cannot go into the Holy Place without being put to death. I will not go!"

6:11. I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
