39:5. యెహోవా నీవు నాకు కొద్దికాలం జీవితం మాత్రమే ఇచ్చావు . నా జీవితం నీ ఎదుట శూన్యం. ప్రతి మనిషి యొక్క జీవితం ఒక మేఘంలాంటిది మాత్రమే. ఏ మనిషి శాశ్వతంగా జీవించడు.

39:5. నా దినముల పరిమాణము నీవు బెత్తెడంతగా చేసి యున్నావు నీ సన్నిధిని నా ఆయుష్కాలము లేనట్టేయున్నది. ఎంత స్థిరుడైనను ప్రతివాడును కేవలము వట్టి ఊపిరి వలె ఉన్నాడు.(సెలా.)

39:5. Look, you make my days short-lived, and my life span is nothing from your perspective. Surely all people, even those who seem secure, are nothing but vapor.

39:5. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath." Interlude
