40:2. నాశనపు గుంటలోనుండి యెహోవా నన్ను పైకిలేపాడు. ఆ బురద గుంటలోనుండి ఆయన పైకి లేపాడు. ఆయన నన్ను పైకి లేపి, ఒక బండమీద నన్ను ఉంచాడు. ఆయన నా పాదాలను స్థిరపరచాడు.

40:2. నాశనకరమైన గుంటలోనుండియు జిగటగల దొంగ ఊబిలో నుండియు. ఆయన నన్ను పైకెత్తెను నా పాదములు బండమీద నిలిపి నా అడుగులు స్థిర పరచెను.

40:2. He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.

40:2. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
