22:14. ఒకడు తన పొరుగు వాని దగ్గర దేన్నయినా బదులు తీసుకొంటే దానికి అతడే బాధ్యుడు. ఒకవేళ ఒక జంతువుకు దెబ్బ తగిలినా లేక ఆ జంతువు చచ్చినా, అప్పుడు ఆ పొరుగువాడు దాని యజమానికి వెల చెల్లించాలి. యజమాని స్వయంగా అక్కడ లేడు గనుక ఆ పొరుగువాడే దానికి బాధ్యుడు.

22:14. ఒకడు తన పొరుగువానియొద్ద దేనినైనను బదులు దీసి కొనిపోగా దాని యజమానుడు దానియొద్ద లేనప్పుడు, అది హానిపొందినను చచ్చినను దాని నష్టమును అచ్చుకొన వలెను.

22:14. "If a man borrows an animal from his neighbor, and it is hurt or dies when its owner was not with it, the man who borrowed it will surely pay.

22:14. "If someone borrows an animal from a neighbor and it is injured or dies when the owner is absent, the person who borrowed it must pay full compensation.

22:14. And if a man borrow aught of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
