8:9. నేనీ విషయాలన్నీ గమనించాను. ఈ ప్రపంచంలో జరిగే విషయాలను గురించి నేను తీవ్రంగా ఆలోచించాను. మనుష్యులు ఎప్పుడూ యితరుల మీద అధికారం చలాయించే శక్తిని సంపాదించుకునేందుకు తంటాలు పడుతూ ఉంటారన్న విషయం నేను గమనించాను. ఇది వాళ్లకి చెరుపు చేస్తుంది.

8:9. సూర్యుని క్రింద జరుగు ప్రతి పనినిగూర్చి నేను మనస్సిచ్చి యోచన చేయుచుండగా ఇదంతయు నాకు తెలిసెను. మరియు ఒకడు మరియొకనిపైన అధికారియై తనకు హాని తెచ్చుకొనుట కలదు.

8:9. While applying my mind to everything that happens in this world, I have seen all this: Sometimes one person dominates other people to their harm.

8:9. I have thought deeply about all that goes on here under the sun, where people have the power to hurt each other.

8:9. All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man hath power over another to his hurt.
