యెషయా గ్రంథము 10 : 16 [ ERVTE ]
10:16. అష్షూరు చాల గొప్పవాడ్ని అని అనుకొంటాడు. కానీ సర్వశక్తిమంతుడైన యెహోవా అష్షూరు మీదికి గొప్ప రోగం పంపిస్తాడు. ఒక రోగి బరవు కోల్పోయినట్టు అష్షూరు తన ఐశ్వర్యాన్ని శక్తిని పోగొట్టు కొంటాడు. అప్పుడు అష్షూరు మహిమ నాశనం అవుతుంది. సర్వం పోయేవరకు మండుతూ ఉండే అగ్నిలా అది ఉంటుంది.

10:16. ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా బలిసిన అష్షూరీయులమీదికి క్షయరోగము పంపును వారిక్రింద అగ్నిజ్వాలలుగల కొరవికట్టె రాజును.

10:16. For this reason the sovereign master, the LORD who commands armies, will make his healthy ones emaciated. His majestic glory will go up in smoke.

10:16. But Assyria doesn't understand this. So the Lord All-Powerful will send a terrible disease against him. He will lose his wealth and power like a sick man losing weight. Then Assyria's glory will be destroyed. It will be like a fire burning until everything is gone.
