14:31. పట్టణ ద్వారం దగ్గర ఉండే ప్రజలారా కేక వేయండి. పట్టణ ప్రజలారా, గట్టిగా కేకలు వేయండి. ఫిలిష్తియాలోని ప్రజలారా, మీరు భయపడతారు. మీ ధైర్యం వేడి మైనంలా కరిగిపోతుంది. ఉత్తరంగా చూడండి. అక్కడ ధూళి మేఘం ఉంది. అష్షూరు నుండి ఒక సైన్యం వస్తోంది. ఆ సైన్యంలో మనుష్యులంతా బలంగా ఉన్నారు.

14:31. గుమ్మమా, ప్రలాపింపుమీ, పట్టణమా, అంగలార్పుమీ. ఫిలిష్తియా, నీవు బొత్తిగా కరిగిపోయియున్నావు ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి పొగ లేచుచున్నదివచ్చువారి పటాలములలో వెనుకతీయువాడు ఒకడును లేడు.

14:31. Wail, O city gate! Cry out, O city! Melt with fear, all you Philistines! For out of the north comes a cloud of smoke, and there are no stragglers in its ranks.

14:31. Wail at the gates! Weep in the cities! Melt with fear, you Philistines! A powerful army comes like smoke from the north. Each soldier rushes forward eager to fight.

14:31. Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou art melted away, O Philistia, all of thee; for there cometh a smoke out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.

14:31. Wail, O gate; cry out, O city; melt in fear, O Philistia, all of you! For smoke comes out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.
