39:1. ఆ కాలంలో బలదాను కుమారుడు మెరోద క్బలదాను బబలోనుకు రాజు. మెరోదక్ ఉత్తరాలు, కానుకలు హిజ్కియాకు పంపించాడు. హిజ్కియా జబ్బుపడి బాగయ్యాడని విన్నందువల్ల మెరోదక్ కానుకలు పంపించాడు.
