49:2. తన పక్షంగా మాట్లాడేందుకు యెహోవా నన్ను వాడుకొంటాడు. పదునైన ఖడ్గాన్ని ఒక సైనికుడు వాడుకొన్నట్టు ఆయన నన్ను వాడుకొంటాడు. అయితే ఆయన నన్ను తన చేతిలో దాచిఉంచి కాపాడుతాడు కూడాను. వాడిగల బాణంలా యెహోవా నన్ను వాడుకొంటాడు. అయితే ఆయన నన్ను తన బాణాల పొదిలో దాచి ఉంచుతాడు కూడాను.

49:2. నా నోరు వాడిగల ఖడ్గముగా ఆయన చేసియున్నాడు తన చేతి నీడలో నన్ను దాచియున్నాడు నన్ను మెరుగుపెట్టిన అంబుగా చేసి తన అంబులపొదిలో మూసిపెట్టియున్నాడు.

49:2. He made my mouth like a sharp sword, he hid me in the hollow of his hand; he made me like a sharpened arrow, he hid me in his quiver.

49:2. He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am like a sharp arrow in his quiver.

49:2. The Lord used me to speak for him. He used me like a sharp sword, but he also held me in his hand to protect me. He used me like a sharp arrow, but he also kept me safe in his arrow bag.

49:2. and he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me: and he has made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he kept me close:
