5:13. యెహోవా చెబుతున్నాడు: “నా ప్రజలు బంధించబడి తీసుకొని పోబడతారు. ఎందుకంటే వారు నిజంగా నన్నెరుగరు. ఇశ్రాయేలులో నివసిస్తున్న మనుష్యులు ఇప్పుడు చాలా ప్రముఖలు. వారి సుఖ జీవనాలతో వారు సంతోషంగా ఉన్నారు. అయితే ఆ గొప్ప వాళ్లంతా దప్పిగొంటారు, ఆకలితో ఉంటారు.

5:13. కావున నా ప్రజలు జ్ఞానము లేకయే చెరపట్టబడి పోవుచున్నారు వారిలో ఘనులైనవారు నిరాహారులుగా నున్నారు సామాన్యులు దప్పిచేత జ్వరపీడితులగుదురు.

5:13. Therefore my people will be deported because of their lack of understanding. Their leaders will have nothing to eat, their masses will have nothing to drink.

5:13. So my people will go into exile far away because they do not know me. Those who are great and honored will starve, and the common people will die of thirst.

5:13. Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
