57:6. నదులలో నున్నటి రాళ్లను పూజించటం మీకు ఇష్టం. వాటిని పూజించుటకు మీరు వాటిమీద ద్రాక్షర సం పోస్తారు. మీరు వాటికి బలులు ఇస్తారు. కానీ మీకు దొరికేది అంతా ఆ రాళ్లే. ఇది నాకు సంతోషం కలిగిస్తుందని మీరు తలుస్తున్నారా? లేదు! అది నాకు సంతోషం కలిగించదు. మీరు ప్రతి కొండ మీద, ప్రతి పర్వతంమీద మీ పడక వేసుకొంటారు.

57:6. నీ భాగ్యము లోయలోని రాళ్లలోనే యున్నది అవియే నీకు భాగ్యము, వాటికే పానీయార్పణము చేయుచున్నావు వాటికే నైవేద్యము నర్పించుచున్నావు.ఇవన్నియు జరుగగా నేను ఊరకుండదగునా?

57:6. Among the smooth stones of the stream are the idols you love; they, they are the object of your devotion. You pour out liquid offerings to them, you make an offering. Because of these things I will seek vengeance.

57:6. Your gods are the smooth stones in the valleys. You worship them with liquid offerings and grain offerings. They, not I, are your inheritance. Do you think all this makes me happy?

57:6. Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion; they, they are thy lot; even to them hast thou poured a drink-offering, thou hast offered an oblation. Shall I be appeased for these things?

57:6. You love to worship the smooth rocks in the rivers. You pour wine on them to worship them. You give sacrifices to them, but those rocks are all you get. Do you think this makes me happy?
