10:14. ప్రజలు మందబుద్ధి గలవారయ్యారు! లోహపు పనివారు వారు చేసిన విగ్రహాల చేత మూర్ఖులయ్యారు. వారి బొమ్మలు అబద్ధాలకు ప్రతీకలు. అవి జడపదార్థములు .

10:14. తెలివిలేని ప్రతి మనుష్యుడు పశుప్రాయుడు, పోతపోయు ప్రతివాడును తాను చేసిన విగ్రహమును బట్టి అవమానము నొందు చున్నాడు; అతడు పోతపోసినది మాయారూపము, అందులో ప్రాణమేమియు లేదు.

10:14. All these idolaters will prove to be stupid and ignorant. Every goldsmith will be disgraced by the idol he made. For the image he forges is merely a sham. There is no breath in any of those idols.

10:14. The whole human race is foolish and has no knowledge! The craftsmen are disgraced by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped works are a fraud. These idols have no breath or power.
