38:15. “నేను నీకు సమాధానం ఇస్తే నీవు నన్ను చంపివేస్తావు. నేను నీకేదైనా సలహా ఇచ్చినా నీవు దానిని వినిపించుకోవు” అని యిర్మీయా సిద్కియాతో అన్నాడు.

38:15. యిర్మీయా నేను ఆ సంగతి నీకు తెలియజెప్పినయెడల నిశ్చయముగా నీవు నాకు మరణ శిక్ష విధింతువు, నేను నీకు ఆలోచన చెప్పినను నీవు నా మాట వినవు.

38:15. Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I answer you, you will certainly kill me. If I give you advice, you will not listen to me."

38:15. Jeremiah said, "If I tell you the truth, you will kill me. And if I give you advice, you won't listen to me anyway."

38:15. Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, thou wilt not hearken unto me.

38:15. Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I tell you, will you not surely put me to death? And if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me."

38:15. Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare [it] unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?

38:15. Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I tell you, will you not be sure to put me to death? And if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me."

38:15. Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, thou wilt not hearken unto me.

38:15. And Jeremiah saith unto Zedekiah, `When I declare to thee, dost thou not surely put me to death? and when I counsel thee, thou dost not hearken unto me.`

38:15. Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I give you an answer, you will probably kill me. And even if I give you advice, you will not listen to me."

38:15. Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, If I declare it to you, will you not surely put me to death? and if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me.
