48:39. “మోయాబు విచ్ఛిన్న మవటంలో ప్రజలు ఏడుస్తున్నారు. మోయాబు లొంగిపోయాడు. మోయాబుకు తలవంపులయ్యాయి. మోయాబును చూచి ప్రజలు ఎగతాళి చేస్తారు. కాని అక్కడ జరిగిన విషయాలవల్ల ప్రజలు భయంతో నిండిపోతారు.”

48:39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

48:39. Oh, how shattered Moab will be! Oh, how her people will wail! Oh, how she will turn away in shame! Moab will become an object of ridicule, a terrifying sight to all the nations that surround her."

48:39. How it is shattered! Hear the wailing! See the shame of Moab! It has become an object of ridicule, an example of ruin to all its neighbors."

48:39. How is it broken down! how do they wail! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab become a derision and a terror to all that are round about him.

48:39. They shall howl, [saying,] How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

48:39. "Moab is shattered. The people are crying. Moab surrendered. Now Moab is ashamed. People make fun of Moab, but what happened fills them with fear."
