20:14. అయినా నేను వారిని సంహరించలేదు. నేను ఇశ్రాయేలును, ఈజిప్టు నుండి వెలికి తీసుకొని రావటం ఇతర దేశాలు చూశాయి. నాకున్న మంచి పేరును నేను పాడుచేసుకోదల్చలేదు. అందువల్ల అన్యప్రజల ముందు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలును సంహరించలేదు.

20:14. అయితే నేను వారిని రప్పింపగా ఏ అన్య జనులు చూచిరో యే అన్యజనులలో నుండి నేను వారిని రప్పించితినో వారి యెదుట నా నామ మునకు దూషణ కలుగకుండునట్లు నేననుకొనిన ప్రకారము చేయక మానితిని.

20:14. I acted for the sake of my reputation, so that I would not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

20:14. But again I held back in order to protect the honor of my name before the nations who had seen my power in bringing Israel out of Egypt.
