24:12. యెరూషలేము తన మచ్చలు మాపుకోటానికి బాగా శ్రమించవచ్చు. ఆయినా దాని ‘తుప్పు’ పోదు! కేవలం అగ్ని (శిక్ష) మాత్రమే ఆ తుప్పును పోగొడుతుంది.

24:12. అలసట పుట్టు వరకు ఇంతగా శ్రద్ధపుచ్చుకొనినను దాని విస్తారమైన మష్టు పోదాయెను, మష్టుతోకూడ దానిని అగ్నిలో వేయుము,

24:12. It has tried my patience; yet its thick rot is not removed from it. Subject its rot to the fire!

24:12. But it's hopeless; the corruption can't be cleaned out. So throw it into the fire.

24:12. She hath wearied herself with toil; yet her great rust goeth not forth out of her; her rust goeth not forth by fire.

24:12. She has wearied herself with toil; its abundant corrosion does not go out of it. Into the fire with its corrosion!

24:12. She hath wearied [herself] with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum [shall be] in the fire.
