26:2. “నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమును గురించి తూరు చెడ్డ విషయాలు చెప్పింది, ‘ఆహా! ప్రజలను రక్షిస్తున్న నగర ద్వారం నాశనం చేయబడింది! నా కొరకు నగర ద్వారం తెరవబడింది. యెరూషలేము నగరం నాశనం చేయబడింది. అందులో నాకు విలువైన వస్తువులు ఎన్నో లభిస్తాయి!”‘

26:2. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూష లేమునుగూర్చిఆహా జనములకు ద్వారముగానున్న పట్ట ణము పడగొట్టబడెను, అది నావశమాయెను, అది పాడై పోయినందున నేను పరిపూర్ణము నొందితిని అని తూరు చెప్పెను గనుక

26:2. "Son of man, because Tyre has said about Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gateway of the peoples is broken; it has swung open to me. I will become rich, now that she has been destroyed,'

26:2. "Son of man, Tyre has rejoiced over the fall of Jerusalem, saying, 'Ha! She who was the gateway to the rich trade routes to the east has been broken, and I am the heir! Because she has been made desolate, I will become wealthy!'

26:2. Son of man, because that Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gate of the peoples; she is turned unto me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:

26:2. "Son of man, because Tyre said concerning Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gate of the peoples is broken; it has swung open to me. I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste,'

26:2. Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken [that was] the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, [now] she is laid waste:

26:2. "Son of man, Tyre said bad things about Jerusalem: 'Hurray! The city gate protecting the people is destroyed! The city gate is open for me. The city of Jerusalem is ruined, so I can get plenty of valuable things out of it!'"
