28:17. “‘నీ అందాన్ని చూచుకొని నీవు గర్వపడ్డావు. నీ గొప్పతనం యెక్క గర్వం నీ జ్ఞానాన్ని పాడు చేసింది. అందువల్ల నిన్ను కిందికి పడదోశాను. ఇప్పుడు ఇతర రాజులు నీవంక తేరిపార జూస్తున్నారు.

28:17. నీ సౌందర్యము చూచుకొని నీవు గర్వించినవాడవై, నీ తేజస్సు చూచు కొని నీ జ్ఞానమును చెరుపుకొంటివి, కావున నేను నిన్ను నేలను పడవేసెదను, రాజులు చూచుచుండగా నిన్ను హేళనకప్పగించెదను.

28:17. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom on account of your splendor. I threw you down to the ground; I placed you before kings, that they might see you.

28:17. Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. Your wisdom was corrupted by your love of splendor. So I threw you to the ground and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings.

28:17. Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I have cast thee to the ground; I have laid thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
