1:14. అష్షూరు రాజా, నీ విషయంలో యెహోవా ఈ ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చాడు. “నీ పేరు పెట్టుకోటానికి నీ సంతతివారు ఉండరు. నీ దేవుళ్ల ఆలయాలలో నెలకొల్పిన, చెక్కిన విగ్రహాలను, లోహపు బొమ్మలను నేను నీ కొరకు నీ సమాధిని నేను తయారు చేస్తున్నాను. నీవు ముఖ్యుడవు కావు!

1:14. నీనెవే, యెహోవా నిన్నుబట్టి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చు నదేమనగానీ పేరు పెట్టుకొనువారు ఇకను పుట్టక యుందురు, నీ దేవతాలయములో చెక్కబడిన విగ్రహమే గాని పోతపోసిన ప్రతిమయేగాని యొకటియు లేకుండ అన్నిటిని నాశనముచేతును. నీవు పనికిమాలినవాడవు గనుక నేను నీకు సమాధి సిద్ధపరచుచున్నాను.

1:14. The LORD has issued a decree against you: "Your dynasty will come to an end. I will destroy the idols and images in the temples of your gods. I will desecrate your grave— because you are accursed!"

1:14. And this is what the LORD says concerning the Assyrians in Nineveh: "You will have no more children to carry on your name. I will destroy all the idols in the temples of your gods. I am preparing a grave for you because you are despicable!"

1:14. And Jehovah hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image; I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

1:14. The LORD has given commandment about you: "No more shall your name be perpetuated; from the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the metal image. I will make your grave, for you are vile."

1:14. And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, [that] no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

1:14. King of Assyria, the Lord gave this command about you: "You will not have any descendants to wear your name. I will destroy your carved idols and metal statues that are in the temple of your gods. I am preparing your grave, because your end is coming soon! "

1:14. Yahweh has commanded concerning you: "No more descendants will bear your name. Out of the house of your gods, will I cut off the engraved image and the molten image. I will make your grave, for you are vile."
