2:2. “నీవెక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నావు?” అని అతన్ని అడిగాను. “నేను యెరూషలేమును కొలవటానికి వెళ్తున్నాను. అది ఎంత వెడల్పు, ఎంత పోడవు వున్నదో చూడాలి”అని అతడు నాకు చెప్పాడు.

2:2. నీ వెక్కడికి పోవు చున్నావని నేనతని నడుగగా అతడుయెరూషలేము యొక్క వెడల్పును పొడుగును ఎంతైనది కొలిచిచూడ బోవుచున్నాననెను.

2:2. I asked, "Where are you going?" He replied, "To measure Jerusalem in order to determine its width and its length."

2:2. "Where are you going?" I asked.He replied, "I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is."

2:2. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
