24:9. “తన ఆహారం మీదికి ఎగబడటానికి సిద్ధంగా వున్న సింహంలా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులున్నారు. వారు నిద్రపోతున్న కొదమ సింహంలా ఉన్నారు. దానిని మేల్కొలి పేందుకు ఎవడికి ధైర్యం చాలదు. నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించే వారు ఆశీర్వాదం పొందుతారు. నిన్ను ఎవరైనా శపిస్తే వారికి గొప్ప కష్టాలు వస్తాయి.”

24:9. సింహమువలెను ఆడు సింహమువలెను అతడు క్రుంగి పండుకొనెను అతనిని లేపువాడెవడు? నిన్ను దీవించువాడు దీవింపబడును నిన్ను శపించువాడు శపింపబడును.

24:9. They crouch and lie down like a lion, and as a lioness, who can stir him? Blessed is the one who blesses you, and cursed is the one who curses you!'"

24:9. Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you."

24:9. He couched, he lay down as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed be every one that blesseth thee, And cursed be every one that curseth thee.

24:9. Israel is like a lion, curled up and lying down. Yes, they are like a young lion, and no one wants to wake him! Anyone who blesses you will be blessed. And anyone who curses you will have great troubles."
