23:37. “ఓ యెరూషలేమా! యెరూషలేమా! నీవు ప్రవక్తల్ని చంపావు! దేవుడు నీదగ్గరకు పంపిన వాళ్ళను నీవు రాళ్ళతో కొట్టావు! కోడి తన పిల్లల్ని దాని రెక్కల క్రింద దాచినట్లే నేను నీ సంతానాన్ని దాయాలని ఎన్నోసార్లు ఆశించాను. కాని నీవు అంగీకరించలేదు.

23:37. యెరూషలేమా, యెరూషలేమా, ప్రవక్తలను చంపుచును నీయొద్దకు పంపబడినవారిని రాళ్లతో కొట్టుచును ఉండు దానా, కోడి తన పిల్లలను రెక్కలక్రింది కేలాగు చేర్చు కొనునో ఆలాగే నేనును నీ పిల్లలను ఎన్నోమారులు చేర్చు కొనవలెనని యుంటిని గాని మీరు ఒల్లకపోతిరి.

23:37. "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! How often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would have none of it!

23:37. "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God's messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn't let me.
