25:2. నిందితుడు కొరడా దెబ్బలు తినాల్సివస్తే, న్యాయమూర్తి అతణ్ణి బోర్లా పండుకోబెట్టాలి. న్యాయమూర్తి చూస్తూ ఉండగా ఎవరో ఒకరు ఆ దోషిని కొట్టాలి. అతని నేరానికి తగినన్ని దెబ్బలు ఆ దోషిని కొట్టాలి.

25:2. ఆ దోషి శిక్షకు పాత్రుడుగా కనబడినయెడల న్యాయాధి పతి వాని పండుకొనబెట్టి వాని నేరముకొలది దెబ్బలు లెక్కపెట్టి తనయెదుట వాని కొట్టింపవలెను.

25:2. Then, if the guilty person is sentenced to a beating, the judge shall force him to lie down and be beaten in his presence with the number of blows his wicked behavior deserves.

25:2. If the person in the wrong is sentenced to be flogged, the judge must command him to lie down and be beaten in his presence with the number of lashes appropriate to the crime.
