5:15. ఈజిప్టులో ఉన్నప్పుడు మీరూ బానిసలే అని మరచిపోవద్దు. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన మహా శక్తితో ఈజిప్టునుండి మిమ్మల్ని బయటకు తీసుకొని వచ్చాడు. ఆయన మిమ్మల్ని స్వతంత్రులుగా చేసాడు. అందుచేతనే ఎల్లప్పుడూ సబ్బాతు రోజును ఒక ప్రత్యేక రోజుగా ఆచరించాలని మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్నాడు.

5:15. నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశమందు దాసుడవైయున్నప్పుడు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేతను చాచిన చేతిచేతను నిన్ను అక్కడనుండి రప్పించెనని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము. అందు చేతను విశ్రాంతిదినము ఆచరింపవలెనని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

5:15. Recall that you were slaves in the land of Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there by strength and power. That is why the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.

5:15. Remember that you were once slaves in Egypt, but the LORD your God brought you out with his strong hand and powerful arm. That is why the LORD your God has commanded you to rest on the Sabbath day.

5:15. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah thy God brought thee out thence by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm: therefore Jehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

5:15. Don't forget that you were slaves in the land of Egypt. The Lord your God brought you out of Egypt with his great power and made you free. That is why the Lord your God commands you to always make the Sabbath a special day.
