3:10. నాకు క్రీస్తును తెలుసుకోవాలని ఉంది. చావునుండి బ్రతికి రాగల శక్తిని గురించి తెలుసుకోవాలని ఉంది. ఆయన పొందిన కష్టాల్లో పాలుపంచుకొని ఆయనతో స్నేహం పొందాలని ఉంది. ఆయనతో మరణించి ఆయనలా అయిపోవాలని ఉంది.

3:10. ఏ విధముచేతనైనను మృతులలోనుండి నాకు పునరుత్థానము కలుగవలెనని, ఆయన మరణవిషయ ములో సమానానుభవముగలవాడనై, ఆయనను ఆయన పునరుత్థానబలమును ఎరుగు నిమిత్తమును,

3:10. My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death,
