2:17. ఆ మనుష్యులు ఇద్దరూ ఆమెతో అన్నారు: “మేము నీకు వాగ్దానం చేసాము. అయితే నీవు ఒక పని చేయాలి. లేకపోతే మా వాగ్దానానికి మేము బాధ్యులంకాదు.

2:17. ఆ మనుష్యులు ఆమెతో ఇట్లనిరియిదిగో మేము ఈ దేశమునకు వచ్చువారము గనుక నీవు మాచేత చేయించిన యీ ప్రమాణము విషయమై మేము నిర్దోషుల మగునట్లు

2:17. The men said to her, "We are not bound by this oath you made us swear unless the following conditions are met:

2:17. Before they left, the men told her, "We will be bound by the oath we have taken only if you follow these instructions.

2:17. And the men said unto her, We will be guiltless of this thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

2:17. The men said to her, "We will be guiltless with respect to this oath of yours that you have made us swear.

2:17. And the men said unto her, We [will be] blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

2:17. The men said to her, "We will be guiltless with respect to this oath of yours which you have made us swear.

2:17. And the men said unto her, We will be guiltless of this thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

2:17. And the men say unto her, `We are acquitted of this thine oath which thou hast caused us to swear:

2:17. The men said to her, "We made a promise to you. But you must do one thing, or we will not be responsible for our promise.

2:17. The men said to her, We will be guiltless of this your oath which you have made us to swear.
