21:18. కాని మేము మా కుమార్తెలు బెన్యామీను పురుషుల్ని వివాహము చేసుకోనియ్యము. మేము ఈ ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశాము, ‘ఎవరైనా సరే బెన్యామీను పురుషునికి భార్యనిస్తే, అతనికి చెరుపు కలుగుతుంది.’

21:18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ఎవడైనను తన కుమార్తెను బెన్యామీనీయునికి ఇచ్చిన యెడల వాడు నిర్మూలము చేయబడునని ప్రమాణము చేసియున్నాము గనుక మనము మన కుమార్తెలను వారికి పెండ్లి చేయకూడ దని చెప్పుకొనుచుండిరి.

21:18. But we can't allow our daughters to marry them, for the Israelites took an oath, saying, 'Whoever gives a woman to a Benjaminite will be destroyed!'
