2:10. రూతు నేల చూపులు చూస్తూ, నేలవరకు వంగి బోయజుతో ఇలా అన్నది. “పరాయిదాననయిన నేను నీ దృష్ఠిలో పడటం, నీ దయకు పాత్రురాలను కావడం ఆశ్చర్యంగావుంది.”

2:10. అందుకు ఆమె సాగిలపడి తల వంచుకొనిఏమి తెలిసి పరదేశినైన నాయందు లక్ష్య ముంచునట్లు నీకు కటాక్షము కలిగెనో అని చెప్పగా బోయజునీ పెనిమిటి మరణమైన తరువాత నీవు నీ అత్తకు చేసినదంతయు నాకు తెలియబడెను.

2:10. Ruth knelt before him with her forehead to the ground and said to him, "Why are you so kind and so attentive to me, even though I am a foreigner?"

2:10. Ruth fell at his feet and thanked him warmly. "What have I done to deserve such kindness?" she asked. "I am only a foreigner."

2:10. Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found favor in thy sight, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a foreigner?

2:10. Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?"

2:10. Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I [am] a stranger?
