8:6. ఇది తప్పు అని సమూయేలు తలచాడు. కనుక సమూయేలు యెహోవాకు ప్రార్థించాడు.

8:6. మాకు న్యాయము తీర్చుటకై రాజును నియమింపుమని వారు అనిన మాట సమూయేలు దృష్టికి ప్రతికూలముగా ఉండెను గనుక సమూయేలు యెహోవాను ప్రార్థనచేసెను.

8:6. But this request displeased Samuel, for they said, "Give us a king to lead us." So Samuel prayed to the LORD.

8:6. Samuel was displeased with their request and went to the LORD for guidance.

8:6. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto Jehovah.

8:6. So the elders asked for a king to lead them. Samuel thought this was a bad idea, so he prayed to the Lord.
