23. అయిదు మూరల పొడవుగల మంచియెత్తరియైన ఐగుప్తీయుని ఒకని అతడు చావగొట్టెను; ఆ ఐగుప్తీయుని చేతిలో నేతగాని దోనెవంటి యీటె యొకటి యుండగా ఇతడు ఒక దుడ్డుకఱ్ఱ చేత పట్టుకొని వానిమీదికిపోయి ఆ యీటెను ఐగుప్తీయుని చేతిలోనుండి ఊడ లాగి దానితో వానిని చంపెను.

23. ఈజిప్టుకు చెందిన బలవంతుడైన సైనికుని కూడ బెనాయా చంపాడు. ఆ మనుష్యుడు ఏడున్నర అడుగుల ఎత్తుగల వాడు. ఆ ఈజిప్టు వాని వద్ద అతి పెద్దదయిన, బరువైన ఒక ఈటె వుంది. అది నేత నేయువాని మగ్గం దోనెవలె వుంది. బెనాయా వద్ద ఒక గదలాంటి ఆయుధం మాత్రమే వుంది. కాని బెనాయా ఆ ఈజిప్టు వాని వద్ద నుండి ఈటెను లాక్కున్నాడు. దానితోనే వానిని చంపివేశాడు.
