16. వారు తిరుగుదురు గాని సర్వోన్నతుడైన వానియొద్దకు తిరుగరు; వారు అక్కరకురాని విల్లువలె నున్నారు; వారి యధిపతులు తాము పలికిన గర్వపు మాటలలో చిక్కుపడి కత్తి పాలగుదురు. ఈలాగున వారు ఐగుప్తుదేశములో అపహాస్యము నొందుదురు.

16. దేవుళ్లుకాని వారివైపు (బయలు దేవత) వారు తిరిగారు. వారు అక్కరకు రాని (వంగని) విల్లులా ఉన్నారు. వారి నాయకులు తమ బలాన్ని గూర్చి అతిశయించారు. కానీ వారు కత్తులతో చంపబడతారు. అప్పుడు ఈజిప్టు ప్రజలు వారిని చూచి నవ్వుతారు. విగ్రహారాధన నాశనానికి దారి తీస్తుంది.
