23:8. ఒకడు తప్పు చేస్తూ నీవు అతనితో ఏకీభవించాలని చెప్పి, నీకు డబ్బు ఇవ్వ జూస్తే, ఆ డబ్బు తీసుకోవద్దు. అలా చెల్లించిన డబ్బు న్యాయమూర్తులు సత్యాన్ని చూడకుండా చేస్తుంది. అలా చెల్లించిన డబ్బు మంచివాళ్లు అబద్ధాలు చెప్పేటట్టు చేస్తుంది.

23:8. లంచము తీసి కొనకూడదు; లంచము దృష్టిగలవానికి గ్రుడ్డితనము కలుగజేసి, నీతిమంతుల మాట లకు అపార్థము చేయిం చును.

23:8. "You must not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and subverts the words of the righteous.
